Congratulations to the John Guild Chapter, NSDAR, from Jackson, Missouri for being selected the August Website of the Month.
Our VIS Committee members in every state continue to work with chapters as they prepare new websites or update older ones. As you know, there is always work to be done to promote our chapters, and a website is a great way for prospective members to find a home. As we get closer to America 250, we encourage all chapters to get those websites ready!

Our Public Relations & Media judges enjoy reviewing the many sites each month. Here are a few comments about what we liked about the John Guild Chapter’s site.
- You have an elegant-looking website with an interesting design.
- Nicely organized. As we visited the various pages, we discovered so many activities. You are a very busy chapter!
- Clean and easy to navigate.
- The opening paragraph on your home page is compelling!
- Your chapter is active now, but after watching your Centennial video, it’s obvious that you have been active throughout your chapter’s history. Your founders would be proud!
- Love the storytelling elements.
- Excellent links to State and National pages as well as Wreaths Across America and your chapter’s Facebook page.
- You might consider linking the circles on your home page to the various sections. You have linked from the words/phrases on the home page, but several of us tried to connect through the circles. It’s a lovely look though.
