As of today, six chapter pins have been developed and are being worn with pride by DAR members. Will your chapter be next? Your Insignia tells the journey of your life in DAR. From the offices you've held, to the important events signified on your ribbon, to the ancestor bar above your heart. Each pin is an important piece of your journey as you show your dedication and commitment to community and the DAR.

DAR members may now expand their love of Insignia by creating identifying pins for their own chapters! The Pin Proposal Guidelines on the Insignia Committee page of the members site will explain how chapter members can create a pin for their DAR ribbon. Yes! You can go to the Insignia Committee page on the DAR members website, and you'll see a link for Pin Proposals. That will take you to the guidelines for all types of new pins, including chapter pins. You may also go to the Contact the Committee page to email our NVC - Chapter Pin Designs.

This looks wonderful. I saw the link to find out how to propose a new pin but Is there a website with more information on Chapter pins? I would love to share this with my chapter.

I think that's a great idea for a chapter to have their own pin. I saw on the thread that a suggestion was to make it a right side pin. What an unique way to show off your chapter.
