On Wednesday afternoon, members of the NSDAR Board of Management paid tribute with wreath-laying ceremonies at two significant sites on the National Mall.
The first wreath was placed at the Memorial to the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence. Thank you to Adele Lancaster, National Chair of the Constitution Week Committee, for joining me to place this wreath. A new 56 Signers Memorial commemorative pin is for sale in the DAR Insignia Store.
A second wreath was placed at the Vietnam Women's Memorial. Thank you to Kathryn West, National Chair of the America 250! Committee, for helping place this wreath. This memorial celebrates its 30th anniversary next month.
