My great joy is to share that we will be launching a major restoration of Memorial Continental Hall in just a few short weeks! This project will be the main focus of the “Celebrate Stars & Stripes Forever through DAR Service and Friendship” Wright President General’s Project. Additionally, to help us raise the necessary funds to complete the desperately needed renovation, this restoration project will also be the focus of our #GivingTuesday campaign this year. Because there is much work to be done to bring our House Beautiful back to its original glory, we must start now!
In the meantime, just know your support of the President General’s Project means so much to me. Your Executive Officers and the National Board of Management are pleased to be able to take on this massive project to restore the only monument to the American Revolution in Washington, D.C., and we are indeed fortunate to have you joining us in this important work!
