We are pleased to congratulate the George Taylor Chapter, NSDAR, of Easton, Pennsylvania, for being selected the February 2025 Website of the Month!
Daughters have been busy creating and updating chapter websites, and that probably will continue. Our judges evaluated 26 websites for the month of February! We are currently looking at 20 websites for March, so you can imagine that VIS Committee members and this judging team are spending quite a bit of time to help chapters with this project.
Those of you involved know how much goes into creating a website that tells your chapter’s story, and we certainly appreciate the work involved in making your communities aware of the work you do.
Here are a few comments from our PR and Media judges highlighting what they liked about the site, along with a few suggestions.

- Well laid out website Good use of the font!
- Love all the images in the header - They are clean, clear, and engaging!
- You have made the most of the VIS guidelines - exactly what you’d want in a chapter site. Brava!
- You might consider using a photo with the three missions of Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism. It’s explained well in your written copy, but photos, especially those that show chapter members, will capture visitors to your site.
- We would like to see even more photos of your chapter members, but the ones you have included are beautiful. Your members do look lovely in their colonial attire!
- Congratulations on this elegant site and congratulations for continuing a long history of DAR.
