Congratulations to the Arkansas State Society for the addition of your Outstanding America 250! page to your state website. While we didn’t re-evaluate the rest of your website, we studied this special page.

We don’t normally recognize two sites for one month, but since we are “celebrating” America 250!, and your page is so well done, we wanted to give you special recognition for this page that really sparkles! We hope your page will inspire other states and chapters to create their own special America 250! section on their websites.

Here are some of our thoughts about this page.

  • Love your page!
  • Loved reading about Arkansas history during the Revolutionary War. Great history lessons on this page! In fact, you might promote this page to educators in your state.
  • Anyone looking at this page will find ways to celebrate the semi-quincentennial in Arkansas, whether they are DAR members or not. It’s a great idea to include the full list of museums to visit in your state.
  • You might re-work the paragraph so that “July 4, 2026” is not separated creating it to be on two separate lines.
  • Great use of having the image below it a video — quite engaging. Everyone should watch this video...if you aren't excited now about the celebration, this video might make that happen.
  • Liked the segmented information written in small, digestible pieces.
  • We liked the Google Doc that lists approved “Revolutionary War Patriots Buried in Arkansas.”

We hope you will visit at:
