Reinstatement Campaign

The Reinstatement campaign has been a tremendous success. Thank you to all who have encouraged members to rejoin DAR for the America 250 celebration. The campaign ends on July 5th. All reinstatements post marked by July 5th will have their reinstatement fee as a gift from the National Society. Those postmarked July 6th will need to include the $10.00 reinstatement fee. If a reinstatement is received after July 1st, the dues will be credited to the upcoming year. This is our standard practice. We have received questions about how close we are to the 5000-reinstatement limit included in this drive. We are comfortable that we will be able to include all reinstatements ...

A few days ago, the heads of Instagram and Facebook shared an important announcement about a change they are implementing this week. They explained that if most of what you are posting is from other accounts, Meta will no longer recommend your account to people who don’t already follow you. 250th Birthday of the U.S. Navy

The United States Navy began celebrating its 250th anniversary in January, but the founding of the Continental Navy on October 13, 1775, will be officially honored this fall. Today, the U.S. Navy is the world's largest naval force, with seven active fleets and approximately 400,000 active-duty and reserve men and women serving their country. The DAR "250th Birthday of the U.S. Navy" pin can be worn on the official DAR ribbon, or as a brooch or lapel pin. Honor your Navy relatives and friends this fall with this beautiful commemorative pin!

This month we evaluated 12 websites, and at the conclusion of Continental Congress, a new group of volunteers will work with the next National Public Relations & Media Chair. We have evaluated 409 websites from 2022 - June 2025.
